What’s this? Designing a watch from scratch and building the prototypes in front of our followers…
Nº 1968 prototypes landed at Silverstone Classic!
7 months hard graft on the new collection, and you wait until you see them in the flesh! Plenty of awesome shots and videos incoming.
We’d like to thank everyone who visited our exhibition over the course of the weekend. You made it a truly unforgettable event. See you next time.

Reviewing the Prototypes
A first for us, Sam sits down to discuss designing a watch from scratch whilst reviewing initial prototypes for this year’s release: The ’68. These were built by Jon in front of our follower’s at this year’s Silverstone Classic.
Take a look at each watch up-close and learn more about the decisions we’re making during the 12 month process from design to delivery (we decided to keep in the outtakes as the security alarm going off twice was too funny to not include. Video does contain mild blasphemy).
Now he does talk A LOT in this and the video is rather long (for which there are no apologies on both fronts) so in case you miss anything:
Follow BEAR INDUSTRIES. You’ll be hearing tonnes more about our collaborations with Mark in the future.
We are donating all proceeds of the one-of-a-kind watch to our chosen charity: MISSION MOTORSPORT. They’re accomplishing incredible things.
We are also partnering with the great folks at F1000 this year.
