Boy, oh boy, things are really hotting up behind the scenes here at W.T. It might be blowing a gale outside and though the instinct is the need to hibernate, there’s simply no rest this Friday afternoon as our pre-order send out date draws ever closer. Those who’ve already got their hands on either a LIMITED EDITION NO. 1914 will we hopefully be awaiting their package with baited breath! And those who haven’t … well what are you waiting for?! At the time of writing we have just ONE #001 No. 1914 watch left for that special someone who likes things seriously unique and refreshingly cool? Perhaps an early Christmas present to oneself?!

I mean, it’s ok of course we’re going to talk about how we got ‘de swag’ but we’ve been lucky enough to have some cool cats out there too giving us a shout out about what we do. So let me give you a rundown of some of the super awesome press W.T. Author has received lately!
Starting with our most recent, the much loved and highly curated High Snobiety, an online lifestyle magazine covering forthcoming trends and news in fashion, art, music, and culture, all on one platform.

No.1914 … featuring a completely bespoke product, Swiss movement and handmade leather strap, every component comes designed and hand-finished in Britain.
HIGH SNOBIETY

Next up high fiving us with some serious kudos is a feature in Shortlist Magazine, its weekly magazine has the biggest circulation of any men’s lifestyle magazine in Britain, so we’re more than honoured to have been included in the mix!

During the First World War, wearable timepieces were favoured over pocket watches as time-saving devices, and it’s designs from this era that have Inspired W. T. Author’s limited edition watch ‘No. 1914’.

Kind words have also come in the shape of amazing articles about the No. 1914 from THE COOLECTOR, LONDON, Wrist Watch Review claim “this is a rather sharp-looking watch in my estimation”.

When it comes to watchmaking, releasing a pre-planned series of watches over a number of years may seem like an ambitious project but this is something that W. T. Author have well and truly taken in their stride.

A daily guide to the Modern Guy VOUCH MAG tells its readers ” Limited to only 125, and sure to sell out quick, the all new ‘No. 1914′ series collection by watchmaker W.T.
