Our bespoke strap making tools are designed and manufactured by Pinegrove Leather, the Shropshire-based fabricator renowned for making custom products.
Each precision-engineered tool is used for different steps of the process including cutting, burnishing and embossing.
The pilot watch straps are produced in-house and they undergo strict quality checks to ensure long-lasting design.
The Nº 1940 pilot watch straps use Italian cowhide.
The rich colour of these 9 to 10 ounce double shoulders, which is applied during the tanning process, goes completely through the hide.
The result is a glazed leather with exquisite beauty, that will uniquely mould itself to your wrist over time.
The watch band has been designed and manufactured to fit a 22mm lug width with an overall thickness of 3.25 mm.
It is embossed with the WT Author trademark and is finished with a gun metal stainless steel buckle.
