What is our History of Watchmaking?

November gives us the opportunity to reflect on the last seven years by gathering interesting artifacts from our past and presenting them across social media. We will share early sketches from the backs of envelopes, photographs from the early stages of development and memories from many of our 54 exhibitions to date (we cannot wait to get back on the road again!)

We will discuss the traditions reflected in the first 3 collections from the authentic wire lugs, original watch straps and the evolution of the pocket watch to the cushion case styles from the Art Deco scene.

Have you Explored the New Website?

Everything is presented on our new website; an archive of information that includes an introduction to the brand, the watch store and all latest news. We have also made it clearer to find more in-depth information on each collection, how you can commission us, exhibition updates, press articles, customer reviews, watch servicing and stockists!

In 2020 we began to roll out the stockists plan by supplying our partner at Imperial War Museum Duxford with Nº 1940 Green. Their stock has completely SOLD OUT but we still have some available at our online store. We’re looking to continue this into 2021 as well as establishing other partnerships to match the work we do with the British Touring Car Team – Power Maxed Racing.

And finally, if you didn’t get the opportunity to watch our Facebook video series ‘The Vaults’ then we’ve also uploaded each episode to YouTube (take a deep dive into each collection with us). They are also available to view in the Description tab for each product at https://wtauthor.com
