Let's Kick Things Off

To kick things off, in just over a week we are exhibiting our first three chapters at the Business Design Centre, Islington as part of the Country Living Fair 2015. Between Wednesday, 11th and Sunday, 15th November our showroom located at stand A44 will showcase ‘A Brief History of the Wristwatch’ contextualised by our signature silhouette. It will also be an opportunity to for us to present our latest release but more on that later…

Next up, unless you have been living under a rock for the past two weeks then you would have seen all the great coverage we have been receiving across all our collections in these great publications.

The third limited edition from this British independent – the plan is to release one model a year for 13 years. This one features a cushion case and a Citizen automatic movement. Comes in various colours and straps.

British watch brand releases its first ever automatic watch, the 1929 Black Edition inspired by the period leading up to the Wall St. Crash and strictly limited to 100 pieces.

It is clear that the pair are brand building for future developments, looking at how their brand will be perceived after 13-chapter project is brought to a conclusion creating a 130-history in snapshot.

And lastly, our newest edition to the family launches Wednesday, 11th November. You can view the series along with the rest of W. T. Author’s collection at Country Livign Fair 2015 at Business Design Centre. Set fifteen years after Author’s second collection, ‘No. 1929’ draws inspiration from the period leading up to the Wall Street Crash: a time in history when Western society was seemingly nearer to the final triumph over poverty than ever before…

In November of 2009, Sam Holland graduated as MDes (Hons) Product Design from Coventry University’s School of Art & Design, UK. Accepting the role of watch designer, he soon established himself as a leading consultant working with a huge portfolio of international brands. Now designing and working from his studio on the Essex coast, Sam loves nothing more then heading down to Old Leigh for some traditional Fish & Chips!
